2.9.3 Latent Heat of Vaporization

The latent heat of vaporization of the solvent $\Delta h_s$ has to be specified at the vaporization temperature $T_{vap}$. The temperature dependency of the latent heat is not needed since this is treated automatically by the fiber model. Using Equation  2.2-16 the following equation can be derived to get the latent heat of vaporization at any temperature $T^\star$:

 \Delta h_s(T^\star) = \Delta h_s(T_{vap}) + \int_{T_{vap}}^{T^\star} \left( C_{p_{s,v}} - C_{p_{s}} \right) d T (2.9-5)
